Taking part in PRISMA was one of the best festival experiences I have ever had. It’s so much more than only playing in orchestra, which is per se also important and developing, gaining new repertoire as for example Bartok’s concerto – priceless, meeting musicians both colleges and tutors from around the world and exchanging musical ideas, sharing what we love was wonderful and inspiring. But above that in my very experience I am beyond grateful for the concerto competition, in which I was in the final round and therefore I received the possibility to perform 1 st movement of Schumann Cello Concerto with the orchestra twice (!). The possibility and through that the ability to play with an orchestra is very rare. There is no other way to learn it than through practice, which is hard to organize and in PRISMA I was given this extraordinary gift. I can feel and I can see how much I have grown and developed both in my personal and in my professional life thanks to participating in PRISMA, which wouldn’t have been possible without the full scholarship.
