The PRISMA Festival (June 16–28, 2025)
PRISMA draws more than 5,000 concertgoers from across BC and beyond for a vibrant celebration of classical music. Each June, the festival presents a rich lineup of daily musical events, including symphony and chamber music concerts, masterclasses, and student recitals. At its heart is the PRISMA Festival Orchestra, performing four full symphonic concerts under the baton of Arthur Arnold. International guest artists – many on loan from some of the world’s top orchestras – join forces in unique chamber ensembles, creating thrilling, one-of-a-kind performances.
Our 2025 repertoire will include: Mahler (Symphony No. 6 & Kindertotenlieder with mezzo-soprano Emma Parkinson), Shostakovich (Symphony No. 6), Berlioz (Les Nuits d’été with mezzo-soprano Emma Parkinson), Mosolov (Symphony No. 3 – World Premiere) and other exciting works.
