2021 Season
An update on PRISMA 2021:
Earlier this year we announced plans for a smaller, strings-only edition of PRISMA featuring 30 musicians and guest artists from British Columbia only. At that time, we were optimistic that such a model could proceed June 14-26 under the right conditions.
On May 4, we made the proactive decision to move our academy online for 2021. PRISMA is so proud to call the qathet region home and we look forward to sharing this inspiring, supportive community with students as soon as possible. Until then, our focus will be on education opportunities that rely on technology rather than travel.
On the festival front, stay tuned for an official announcement regarding Season 2 of our broadcast series, PRISMA on the Couch, featuring performances by the Lafayette String Quartet (our 2021 artists-in-residence), footage from our virtual classroom, and another deep dive into the archives curated by maestro Arthur Arnold.’
