Operations Lead - Caitlin Bryant

Caitlin Bryant is a dedicated arts and culture

administrator who believes in the sector's intrinsic

ability to build connected, thriving 

based on celebration and shared 
values. Caitlin's

always up for a new challenge 
and has worked in a

wide variety of disciplines 
with in the arts including

performing arts, visual 
arts, contemporary dance,

film, and speaker series.



Development & Marketing Lead - Rachel Rocco

Rachel began work in the music industry in the 80’s

on a summer student grant with the Vancouver Folk

Music Festival. Since then she spent many years

bringing wide ranging cultural events to life in many

parts of Canada. She believes that a thriving artistic

and cultural life is vital to community wellbeing.

As a recent newcomer to Powell River she was pleased

and surprised to find PRISMA, an international classical

music festival in the woods. She looks forward to

getting some classical music education while spreading

the word and building partnerships for PRISMA.


Special Events Coordinator - Kim Barton Bridges

Kim, her husband and three daughters moved to Powell

River in 1998 from Vancouver. Their youngest daughter

started university last year, so while they are officially

empty-nesters, they remain at the beck and call of their

three furry kids. Her volunteer pursuits include positions

with the PR Hospice Society and the BC Ferries Advisory

Committee for our region. She loves the quiet, coastal

lifestyle and the various arts and cultural events for

which this community has earned a solid reputation.


Communications & Marketing Specialist - Andy Rice

Born and raised in Powell River, Andy now works as an

arts administrator-at-large, juggling his time between

Vancouver and various Canadian cities through his work

with the British Columbia Choral Federation, Canadian

Chamber Choir, Townsite Jazz Festival and more!





Volunteer Coordinator - Lynda Harris

Lynda Harris’s career life began in Toronto where she was 

assistant principal cellist with the Canadian Opera Company

in Toronto and principal cellist with the COC Touring Company

in the mid 1970s.  Moving into teaching, she directed a school

string program in Alberta for 4 years.  Since 1987 she has

taught in a number of schools in Powell River as well as providing

cello instruction in her home. She is delighted to now have the

time to support and promote PRISMA in an active way.



Operations Support - Sean Hawryluk

Sean comes from the Rock n Roll world by way of the Heavy

Metal Highway. He immigrated to Classical Land to lend his

unique blend of friendly personal skills, a willingness to move

heavy objects and his years of experience driving a big tour

van to the PRISMA team.




Box Office Coordinator - Crysta White

Member Liaison - Sharon Thomas

Sharon Thomas taught chemistry to high school students for

several years. After obtaining a Ph.D., she worked as a research

scientist in both the USA 
and Canada. Her administrative

experience stems from her role as 
managing director of a

pan-Canadian scientific research network. 
She has been an

avid supporter of PRISMA since its inception.




Graphic Design - Nancy de Brouwer

Nancy deBrouwer worked as the Art Director for National

in the Netherlands, prior to coming to Canada

where she is the owner 
and creative director of Massive Graphic.

With 20 years of experience, 
she has a reputation for excellent

graphic and web design solutions and an 
approach that

encourages open, collaborative, and respectful partnerships

with clients. Nancy is responsible for all graphic design and

the development 
of the PRISMA brand.
